Tineka

Tineka Thompson, M.S.,CCC-SLP

Tineka has 21 years of experience as a speech/language pathologist. Tineka received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University.

Tineka is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association and holds the ASHA certificate of clinical competence. In addition, Tineka also holds a license to practice speech/language pathology privately in the state of Georgia. She also holds an educator’s certificate to practice speech/language pathology within the school system.

Tineka has experience working with preschool, elementary, middle and high school students in the public school system. She has experience working with clients from birth to 21 years old in the private setting and with the geriatric population in skilled nursing facilities. Most of her experience has been working with students having a variety of disabilities such as Specific Learning Disability, Autism, Mild-Moderate Intellectual Disability, Receptive/Expressive Language Disorders, phonological disorders, pragmatic language, fluency, functional communication skills and AAC devices.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling and shopping.
